Stadl lido. The chalet is within walking distance of a leisure complex with bathing
lake, rope course play ground, tennis court & volleyball
Walking. Use the Kreischberg gondola to start your hike at the tree line & enjoy
the pollen-free alpine air.
Cycling. The 365km long Mur Cycle Path is Styria’s longest cycle way and follows
the River Mur from its source in the scenic Hohe Tauern mountains all the way to
Bad Radkersburg, Styria’s southernmost point. Enjoy scenic cycling through spectacular
and diverse scenery.
HolzMuseum. For an interesting change, why not visit the HolzMuseum (Wood Museum)?.
It is dedicated to the historical and traditional side of timber. The museum also
serves as a visitor centre and a starting point for guided tours of the region, also
known as wooden world tours.

White water rafting. Try white water rafting on the river Mur.
Tandem Paragliding. High in the sky, enjoy spectacular views of the Mur valley from

Golf. Golf enthusiasts may like to try a few holes at the local Golfclub Murau Kreischberg.
There are another 12 courses within a 90 minute drive.
Bars and Restaurants. There are a couple of restaurants and bars in Stadl village
or visit the beautiful local town of Murau for restaurants, shopping, bars etc, (15
mins drive). While in Murau visit the funky OpenSpace bar overlooking the river
Mur.
Trains. Take the train from Stadl to Murau. It runs all year, stopping at the ski
lifts in Kreischberg, Golf Club and Murau town centre. Twice a week in Summer the
train is pulled by a steam engine.
